mi, tu, su… (possessives)

My, your, his, her… In Spanish they agree with the thing owned, not the owner.

  • mi my · tu your (tú) · su his / her / its / your (usted)
  • nuestro/a our · vuestro/a your (vosotros) · su their / your (ustedes)

Add -s for plural things: mis amigos. Nuestro and vuestro also change for feminine: nuestra casa.

su can mean his, her, their or your — the context makes it clear. Note: tu (your) has no accent; tú (you) does.
